cos I also had a L6 here (no display first , then next time on, the display comes back and work normal for 5 mins ....and then display off...and now, no display)... it's obviously my fault while cutting the shield anyway, just went to carphonewarehouse and bought a new L6 for customer (bad day, but good lesson) | |

Member: 3758 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 1 | i think you will find that it is not your lcd as if u put phone in test mode (hold down * + # and power on) the display will power up properly. sadly i dont still know a solution for this problem, i am waiting for a flash file from victor on mss forum, hopefully this would solve(fingers crossed). phone died using SC, as you said unlocked succesfully but phone is just dead, keypad lights up but no screen. I have already replaced phone for customer but would want this working as it is brand new, cheapest one would be on O2 for £129.99 if you needed to replace btw but it is locked and you will need to unlock. It is a strange problem as i have unlocked 5 other l7 after that using SC and all were successful. Strange!! hope this helps. |

Member: 216515 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 4 | Hmm i still dont get what wrong if its successful. I did one and i have someone sending me one to unlock i hope i dont get a problems with it too. Ive unlocked 4 testpoint phones and out them 1 "died" the ROKR E1 it says "call failed" it was successful too. Wierd SC needs to find a reason why testpoint phones are dying with successfull unlocks |

Member: 6919 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 12 | Its not LCD fault. i simply cut the shield very carefully. nothing went wrong. than before i proceed i put the battery in the phone and power on it. and stranage there is no LCD. but if i put the phone into testmode the back light of LCD glows. than i went for the tp and unlock it with SC. every thing went perfact. and phone is unlocked and working but No lcd. than i have change the LCD with the another phone but still No LCD. Could it be flashing fault ? but how the flash fault could happen when i did not touch it with any s.w. :confuse br |
