By following this link you can find detailed step-by-step manual on the Read Unlock Codes procedure along with the cable pinouts.
Please notice that MTK models require to be connected to PC COM port via original COM data cable or using any COM port emulator.

COM port emulator is the same as Virtual COM-port.
You can use 3rd party FTDI/Profilic or UFS-like box to emulate a COM-port

Or you can buy cable from gsmserver:

USB Cable based on PL2303 Chip for Motorola WX-series and MTK based Alcatel/Vodafone phone models (sold separately)



also available cable for mtk models with microusb connector:

USB Cable based on PL2303 Chip for Motorola EX-series and Alcatel MTK phone models (sold separately)
