Why latelly you always upload files to www.boot-loader.com in PCF Format NOT MFW Format.
because we need MFW Format to use smart-clip for flashing after repairing PDS or just Change the language Pack.
I said we, your customer, need smart-clip for flashing because we want to use PREPARE Phone function to avoid TP.

@ Chevka,

To flash the handset with *.pcf file you have to use PC Flash procedure. During PC Flash procedure no need to connect to use TP. Also *.pcf files can be used to change LP.

That does not answer Chevka's Inquiries, Cutomers want MFW Format because its the Format needed after repair PDS Procedure.

I know we can use PC Flash to use PCF Format, BUT...
Are you sure we can flash or change the language pack for LTE2 Phones such as L7 or V3i or any other phone which use bootloader higher than 08.D0 without using TP?????

Other wise, yes it's true we still need MFW Format flash file after we do "Repair PDS" Procedure.

That is possible to use *.pcf files in PC-flash mode to accomplish PDS repairing process.

Also, there are enough flashes in *.mfw format to perform flashing after repair PDS procedure. Even if you can't find a required version of *.mfw as the original version in the phone is higher, please use the highest full_flas.mfw that is available and after that just upgrade the version, using *pcf file in PC-flash mode.

Well... If you mean the highest boot versions of the models such as L7 or V3i then the TP is still required for them. Those versions are not currently supported by Prepare cycle. But in the mean time *.pcf files still can be flashed directly. That is why we upload more flashes in *.pcf format.

Those models: E2, E6, A1200, V3XX, V6 MAXX, L6i, L7i can be flashed with *.pcf files in PC flash mode directly, avoiding any TP. For some of them Repair PDS option is also available. Please check out SmartMoto Repair tab.
