can I repair dead E1000 with smart-clip?

hi,

trying to unlock it with unimoto I "killed" an E1000

this is what happened:

http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=206683

I really need some help to restore it

I already tried re-flashing with PST and RSS lite a newer firmware, I even upgraded the bootloader (so now I can't downgrade the firmware anymore) ... but nothing works

is there anything I can do with smartclip and/or smartmoto?

can I "read" another E1000 and restore my customer's one with that?

or "force" unlock with clip to repair it?

The only solution that could possibly help you: flash it with backup file from another (working) phone And restore the original security area.

BUT

SmartMoto does not do the backup from this model. Wait for new release...

Start the phone in bootmode holding the * # together and then on to get into the boot mode, use the latest firmware: E1000_U_80.3F.63.00.03P_LP0039_DRM0001_JPAE_R24MOT E10000_09_USE1000MENAXXR24003_1FF.shx
and flash your phone with PST or RSD.
Language Package 0039 (UK English, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Dutch, Turkish, Portuguese)

PS: Please remember that when flashing a Motorola phone with the new bootloader onboard you can only flash it with the same or more recent firmware, if you have an older bootloader i don't reccomend flashing the phone to a newer firmware that might change your bootloader to a newer one thus making it inpossibile to go back.

I already flashed that one !!! but it doesn't turn on even after flashing! I believe unimoto "broke" the security area of the phone, so now it doesn't turn on anymore

hunk4004,

I mean I already have been able to flash it with newer firmware, but it does not tur on "normally" anyway even after that

also, I don't have victorgsm, and I don't want to buy it just to repair one phone... I will spend less money just buying a new handset for my customer
