Cant connect smart clip - GSM-Forum

Hi, few days ago my smart clip works perfectly, today a tried unlock and the smart clip
clip not found
I chek the drivers looks ok
i use smart adaptador and i chek the cable looks ok, even i unlock 1 phone only whith the clip succesefull, the matter is that the pc cant find the clip, anybody have a idea?? for ur time thanks

Friend! If smart-Clip is Ok you only Need Connect
LPT port Or Usb Cable (Blue). Connect Power to Smart-Clip.
Connect S-Card Open Smart Moto se if is In LPT or USB.
If you use USB cable Converter you need confg Samart moto
to USB.
Check if You have lsted Version, update Samart-Clip, Cable
and S-Card.

Hi,
you get both ligths (green and red) when you connect the power source to your SC?
When you click search in smart moto does de boxs leds blink or anything?
well i can think of two things at the moment, check lpt configuration in your bios, it needs to be set as EPP, it happened to me some time ago and that was the problem.

First of all check what connection settings SmartMoto have (run SmartMoto go to Smart-Clip bookmark and check what connection selected).
Also, please tell us what power supply are you using with the Smart-Clip.

Hi i used the usb smart adaptador, i use power source of 12 v when i conect the green and yellow leds turn on, when i click search the green one turns red and smart moto says smart clip not found, and the configuration of the connections its select usb it was running like that few days ago, but dont work anymore, thanks for ur answer

check the power adapters vot it shouldbe 9 volt

the power source have output of 9 to 12 volts, even i try unlock only whit the clip v300 and the clip unlock it succefully, but the pc canot detect the clip

@ dreechan,

Try to connect Smart Adaptor to other USB port, install drivers once again, restart the PC and run SmartMoto.
Also, ensure that power supply you are using provides stable output. Recommended value for the proper work of the Smart-Clip is 12V 750mA or 10V 1A.

pls i thing u should lanch ur smartmoto, go to smart-clip, smart-clip port, selet LPT 1 , setup port for: selet compatibility after den click on connect while u r online das all.

I dont use lpt port i use usb adaptador my pc dont ve lpt port, i chek the cable it look ok, its probabily that my clip have a hardware damage???

Did you try to perform actions specified in this post?
Can your Smart-Clip be detected by the update zone? If yes, try to update it, save log file and send it to support[at]smart-clip.com with the detailed description of the problem.

yeap today i conect another smart clip in my pc and was working perfect, im 100% sure that ist problem of hardware of my smart clip my warranty was expired anybody knows how a can repair it?? o a i should buy another smart clip?? in this case i ll buy a mms box, thanks for all for your time br dreechan
