Cant put motorola test mode on e8 - GSM-Forum

got my fingers sore ,, done all the steps indicated but when i get to the part were it needs to be in "motorola test mode" thw phone just dont go into that mode, have done U9,EM30 with no problem is just this model that is more complicated or is there another way to put in motorla test mode???

No. You can enter "motorola test mode" by pressing and holding keys 4 and 6.
Press and hold these keys, then insert battery.
Did you flash the handset before pressing keys ?

but of course !!! done all that pres 4-6 keep the cable conected then insert battery and it just simply turns on

Same problem here motorola e8 just starts keys 4 and 6 pressed. Any help.

same problem here, but I solved flashing special_files firmware .1AR
My original firmware was ending _B but I flashed with this one .1AR and test mode worked for me

same problem unsolved. I will destroy the keyboard and still not put into test mode on Motorola e8.

e8 keys are not getting pressed when it is off so insert battery power on phone hold 4+6 & keep holding it and remove battery now while keep it press insert data cable and battery u will get phone in test this is what i did with my e8......

How to put E8 in Flash mode?

While unlocking "Unexpected error" and my Phone Gone Dead. only yellow light Under USB connector.

In order to enter E8 in flash mode hold *# and press Power ON button.
Show us log file from unlock procedure, please.
Can the phone be detected by PC at all?
Was the phone battery fully charged?

"Unexpected error" and the smart-moto.exe gone crash that's why cant give u any screen short

***you should have a operation.log file under C:\Program Files\GsmServer\SmartMoto

may be Valid boot mode can be the solution

Unfortunately, if the MotoMAGX based phone model can not be detected by PC at all, nothing can be done at the moment.
