Only the red light schiwtch on and smart moto cannot detect clip. How to repair it?

You cant repair it ,just by new.
How time you was use your SC?

Smart-Clip update procedure

1. Connect Smart-Clip to PC using LPT cable.
2. Power Smart-Clip on (warning: don’t use battery!).
3. Go to our Update Zone: http://www.smart-clip.com/upgrade.php
4. Update Zone uses ActiveX control, answer "Yes" to install and run it.
5. Press "Connect" button.
6. An ActiveX client should detect Smart-Clip.
7. Press "Update" if the Smart-Clip version is out of date.
8. Wait until update procedure is completed and then power Smart-Clip off.
9. Disconnect LPT cable.

After that, please save log file and send it to support[at]smart-clip.com

that´s not the first time that smart-clip damaged the lpt.......i think that sc team are killing smart-clip out of warranty when doing updates....bad move from sc team......thats not the first time and will not be the last...

@ UCPM,

Nobody wants and nobody think to kill devices. The most common problem, that the Smart-Clip can go out of service during update process, because it has to go through a few stages of hardware tests. If it fails to pass any of them - it stops working. It happens to the warranty devices or to the ones that are out of warranty. The only difference that Clips with warranty can be exchanged.
And of course, as older hardware - the more chances for it to get broken. That is usual for any device.

the warranty clip is expired.
and update is denied after trying to update with scard.
I send the log to smartclip team, i'm waiting for reponse
