Do Not Write "Not Native" Backup to C975, C980, V975, V980, E1000, A1000, V1050!!! - GSM-Forum

We strictly recommend not to flash phones with backup flash files received from other phones in these models: C975, C980, V975, V980, E1000, A1000, V1050. We would advice everyone to use a latest version of SmartMoto & recommend to flash the handsets only with *.smf files downloaded from our website.
If the message "Error 0" appeares on display - it means that the phone's security zone was corrupted. Due to the increase of protection level by Motorola company, the handsets with this kind of error won't get connected in normal way.
So, we strictly recommend:
Not to flash phones with backup flash files received from other phones in these models: C975, C980, V975, V980, E1000, A1000, V1050!!! (This does not apply to the backed up language packs)

In any case do not overwrite security area with the security file from another handset!!!

Make all Backup/Flash operations with 100% fully charged phone battery!!!

or anything will do to make the phone alive again?

Hi! ppl
I had a v1050 with user code, so i decided records security area of another one, I read the information late from SC Support, so phone dead

i have my phone alive again and i will share how i put the phone alive again:
as i said, i wrote a diferent security area from another V1050 to my phone and this one was dead, the smartmoto info was:

boot prepare... failed

and i cannot write my backup to the phone, so i made the next steps:

first i put the phone in boot mode with a force cable and i select unlock tab in smartmoto and i choose unlock v1050, so smartmoto was prepare the phone for unlock and turned off the phone i turned on again the phone in flash mode and i wrote the backup, the good security area file to the phone and unlock in smartmoto again, and the phone was alive again! i hope that info help someone.

2. Register yourself
3. Go to your mailbox, receive a mail and activate Your account
4. Login using given details at the site
5. Connect your's clip to lpt, turn it on and click at "clip login". ActiveX control will be installed.
6. If your clip is authorised to connect you will be redirected to download zone.

Easy, isn't it ?

One question. I have flashed through backup like 10 v980 and there was no problem with this phones even sometimes the memory was different. I wanted to know if the problem is that the procedure is sometimes difficult and we have to be really careful doing this with the phones you mentioned. Also I wanted to know if this problem will be solved in future updates(I think it will but it's better to ask). The last question is about the FTP.

The ftp has best protection and is well done but needs some updates.

1.Speed, the speed is incredibly slow. I prefer to pay 10€ and get the best speed for users. If you give us a paypal account I will pay you 10€ or $ inmediatly.

2.Order, the ftp is huge but needs some order such as branded or unbranded and a personal idea is to show the files by Language pack or language only, I mean

Root-->LP0039-->{v550,v3,e398...)-->Soft version{Branded(Vod,Oran,Movs,Tmob...), unbranded

I have a V1050 that when try to unlock first of all Phone say ERROR 0, and unlock fail, the phone is a new One, never used, with version R26LD and works perfectly before and after try to unlock. But say that: ERROR 0

There is any solution for this version?
