Member: 67656 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 10 | Do we can extract FLASH from phone for flash others with ? i mean can we use a backup or something for working phone for flashing a dead one.i mean a full flash file , a reflash file ,or boot file? if yes how? can we flash a phone with other backup flash phone? thks |

Member: 229997 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 636 | You can use flash files from other phones, but they should be made by Clip. You can`t use the backup from other boot from other phone `cos in this case phone wouldn`t work. |

Member: 49581 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 73 | yes we can do that ...flash a backup from a working to a dead ones ... but after that, u need to restore the Security Area .... but, the backup you make from a SmartClip will not work on another clip ~ |

Member: 121052 Status: Offline Sonork: 100.107126 Thanks Meter: 80,766 | Hi, mates All necessary information can be found at http://www.smart-clip.com/sm_manual.php You can backup a flash file by going to bookmark "Backup" > "Backup phone flash" (in this case you will get *.smb file), you will be able to use it in case you need to restore your handset to its original condition. Also you can flash your phone with backed up file from another phone. In some models security zone will get backed up automatically with the flash file. In this case, after flashing the phone you will have to restore its original security area. Bookmark "Backup" > "Restore security area". You can recognize the file of Security Zone by phone's IMEI. We strictly recommend not to flash phones with backup flash files received from other phones in these models: C975, C980, V975, V980, E1000, A1000, V1050. We would urge everyone to use the latest version of SmartMoto and to flash the handsets only with *.smf files downloaded from our website. And gwaai is right: a backed up flash file can only be used with the same Smart-Clip by which it was backed up. Member: 67656 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 10 | hi i extract a flash file from working l7 phone with backup function , after that i write it on another phone by restore backup, after that i did restore security area saved with the good imei but phone still not power up, did someone have an idea ?? did i forget something i ddi nt select overwrite boot area , not even slower method , did i have to try with overwrite boot option and slower method! ps:i flash in tab Backup not Flash because the extensio nfiel is not recognized any advice needed thks greatfull for any help |
