Help with E1 ROKR please.

Hi, I've been reading all threads here about how to unlock E1 via testpoint, but still can't even get testpoint working properly. It took me 3 days now and only get "Searching for phone...no phone found" message displayed on Smart-moto. I'm using Smart-Moto V1.18 and SC v2.23
Here is all the steps that I did.
1. Disassemble phone. (Nothing attached only the circuit board)
2. Cut metal shield in order to get to testpoint
3. Connect Lpt port and charger to Smart-clip.
4. Connect USB to Smart-clip then to phone.
5. Open Smart-Moto.
6. Connect testpoint to ground using Test probe with Alligator clip at other end connect to a sheet of metal.
7. Connect battery.
8. Press "Search" button in Smart-Moto.
Then nothing happened. Smart-Moto only showed "Searching for phone...no phone found" message. I also tried connecting battery before testpoint but wouldn't work out. I don't know what to do now. Please help me!

sounds like either your testpoint isn't ground properly, make sure it's connected to sheet of metal on the phone itself and battery charged or connect to a 3v power source.

bro try to power the unit when you search the phone. and also replace your cable. use full charge battery or adoptor.
