hi,

i have probleme with my two of moto fones and same pb.....with e770 and v3x.
When i connect the fones the folowing error displayed....i change the adopter to 12v but same pb..

SmartMoto 2.23
S-Card: 7xxxxxxxx Smart-Clip dongle, v 1.24, assigned Smart-Clip: xxxxxxxxxx Europe, initializing... OK
Clip serial: xxxxxxxxxx, version: 3.17, initializing... OK
Searching for phone... found Motorola Phone (RAZRV3x), getting test interface... AT command error
This error is possible during phone turning on, you may try <Search> once again

what is the pb...

@ faisi,

AT command error shows that the handset has User code enabled.
You can try to perform the following:

1. power on the phone with any SIM
2. when it asks for user code, press MENU button
3. then it will ask for security password, enter 000000 and press OK (000000 - default security password. It might not be accepted, in case it was modified by user)
4. now you should be able to perform a Master reset & Master clear from the menu.

If that will not help, than You should Full flash the handset using TP method.

i same problem of connection whit phone try in this mode: put on central pin of battery a isolator and insert it (u have only + and - connect),the phone on must be whit message: invalid battery!;

i do this usualy when the connection whit the phone or smartclip give me error....(more time on v3x and e770)

i have the same problem why by using prepare method u need to flash? why there is normal reset after unlock i.e. ubl via blank mode, also why gsmserver is not give the link for those who have the problem mfw full flasher until the other part upload file for us

The handset has to be flashed after Prepare cycle if it was connected in boot mode or any mistake during Prepare cycle was made.

Mate if you dont want to use Prepare,why dont use TP
