I was try write flash in V3r but always only ( io timeout) I can unlock, write lang. , read lang. make backup all phone without problem, but write full flash or backup don't work always give me this eror io timeout I have Power adapter 12V 1A LPT seting ( EPP+ ECP) What is bad ? If it has boot 0A.30, fully charge the battery and try to flash it using Prepare cycle (Please note: "Unlock automatically" should be marked off), post results here. Also please make sure that: 1. Your LPT cable works properly 2. If you are using WinXP, log in as Administrator or any other account with administrative rights To run a new SmartMoto under WinXP also to update a Smart-Clip please launch the SM-tool, open Smart-Clip bookmark & tick the option "Disable OS parallel port polling (requires reboot)". SW: R3443U2_G_0E.C0.15R But I have this problem with all motorola phones when I write flash with testpoint or testpoint adapter. give mi this eror: io timeout or Clip communication failed ! I think, it is hardwar problem in Smart clip. But my reseller send my box back and tell me ,, box is OK ''. Where is problem ? Last edited by afo; 05-26-2007 at 20:24. |

I don't have any problem unlock phone, read LP. Problem is when I write flash, full flash or backup then write me io timeout Please help me with my problem. Also, you can try powering your handset from external power supply (3.7V, 500mA).
