Does the cable that you are using have the same pinout as on the picture?

This is definitely an issue of the cable or possible the hardware problem of your phone.

SmartMoto not required for J100 unlock.
Purchase or build the CORRECT cable.
Connect to the front panel RJ45 port and use the top unlock button.

SE J100/C115/C116/C117/C118/C139/C140/C155/C156/E365/V170/V171 unlocking procedure
1. Power off the phone.
2. Connect the Clip to the phone using RJ45 cable (see pinout schematic below).
3. Press UNLOCK button.
4. Press Power button on the phone within 5 seconds after you press UNLOCK button on the Clip. RX/TX leds will blink.
5. E/G led will glow green on success.*

* After successful unlock (green led on) phones with inserted sim card may ask for PCK or NCK code. Enter 00000000 ("zero" 8 times).

I have a little Problem, i hope somebody can help me,

i have a Sony Ericsson J100i, i would like to unlock it with the Smart-clip.

I have the J100 Cable this one:

http://www.handy-style.de/index/cat163/2633

The problem is, If i connect the J100i RJ45 cable to the Smart-clip, the Smart-Clip switches off, If i connect other Cable to the smart-clip
everything is OK, Only with the J100i Cable. Maybe, its the wrong cable?

Thanks

@ powerplay83,

More likely that the cable you have is faulty.
