K1 Dead after unlock with Smart-clip - Page 3 - GSM-Forum

i have observed that this is probably because of so called smart-tp it doesnt seem so smart afterall.. i unlocked some 100 odd pcs and 12 pcs turned out to be no display after smart tp... and some phone i checked were consuming such high current on smart tp that regulated power supply kept tripping so had to use battery ..

my K1 also dead but was R4527... but i was unlocking with discharged batteries

so i have to wait to charge

TO ALL MATES DON'T USE A LOW BATT TO UNLOCK K1 AND ANY PHONE THAT NEEDS TP TO UNLOCK. BE VERY CAREFUL ABOUT THIS MATES

looks like its HW problem, maybe someone with access to mssbox can help us to post the solution for cutted tracks (the 1st reason for K1 killing)

can you post how the diagram for how to correct B9 error (are two joints in the mainboard)

Problem is simple.. at the end of unlock process we have error A4... then phone in normal mode is recognized like Neptune lte2... we can repair pds OK but when we want to flash it,, have error.. cannot write block.. we can only flash in slow mode.. , i tested all flash in support and nothing.. phone still like neptune lte2..
tried to restore backup files.. i tried all and phone still death..
I think sc must to research with this bug..

is a different k1.. flex is different too. becouse i put a board of a good k1 on a dead k1 flex and phone powerup in white screen.. flex is different too.

@ Indyss,

If the phone always get detected as "Neptune lte2", it shows that the phone in boot mode.
Please post log file, when "error A4" appears.
