any solution C168i unlcok? i got always fail

here is screen shots

SmartMoto 2.44
S-Card: xxxxxxx Smart-Clip dongle, v 1.52, assigned Smart-Clip: xxxxxxxxEurope, initializing... OK
Waiting for the phone to power on....failed
Waiting for the phone to power on....failed
Clip serial: xxxxxx, version: 3.25, initializing... OK
Waiting for the phone to power on...failed

here is my procedure

Quote:

Connect* powered OFF phone to PC COM port.
Connect S-Card and launch SmartMoto.
Select "Computer COM ports" in Phone connection window.
Log to "Chi Mei" tab.select c168i
Select an appropriate COM port in SmartMoto.
Press "Unlock" button.
Press "Power ON" button on the phone,

i use t191 com cable. but i got always failed

any news about this model..

i use t191 com cable. but i got always failed

any news about this model..

Man use data cable select right com from data cable or universal box and all is ok.In case check the conection.

i too same symptom any solution for this? am using correct cable and correct com port but still same pls anyone have a good solution

yes sir.. i try it many time after smart-clip says Waiting for the phone to power on i press the power on but no effect..

why i use UNI BOX for this... my cable is working fine bro... i think have bugs on new version of smart-clip... anyway thanks for the reply my dear..

The unlock of C168/C168i is checked again. There are no bugs in software. I am sure that there is a trouble with phone connection (the cable doesn't work, drivers are not installed properly, proper COM port is not selected).

my cable def works as it unlocks w375, drivers for what ?? and it set at com port 1 as it is in com port 1 on the pc (same port I i use for w375 etc)

We have tested Unlock of C168/168i with original cable with virtual COM port emulator and it 100% worked. More likely your hardware COM port doesn't support required speed. Please use with Smart-Clip original accessories only.

If this is new AT&T Motorola c168i THERE IS NO SOLUTION.

Yes...there is a problem unlocking new ATT C168i .
After SC fails to detect power_on ,I used the program MST and got good reads of IMEI and SW version so this is NOT a cable problem.
Maybe the new ATT c168i needs a diffrent loader?
