MPx220 - Never succed in unlocking

Hi smart-clip team. I have tried 3-4 times unlocking MPX220 using the exact method as shown by you
MPx220

1. Launch SmartMoto.
2. Select "Computer COM ports" in connection window.
3. Log to "Chi Mei" tab.
4. Power the phone OFF and remove the battery.
5. Connect USB data cable (not a Forced Boot Mode cable!!!).
6. Select an appropriate COM port in SmartMoto (usually is the highest number).
7. Press "Read codes" button.
8. Codes are calculated.
9. Disconnect the handset.
10. Power ON the phone with any sim card inserted.
11. Phones menu will popup with unlock code request.
12. Enter the code that was read by SmartMoto with the status "Activated".
13. Phone unlocked.

Note. Please do not use any HUB or extension cable. Connect the handsets to PC USB port directly using an original data USB cable. MPx models require a driver to be installed. Universal driver for all models is available within SmartMoto directory (SmartMoto install folder \drivers\…). To install the driver: connect your handset to the PC, system will detect a new device, locate the driver and run the installation as many times as system will require it.

But never succeed. Can you give some kind of time where one is making mistake. It always accept the drivers but never show a different comport in device manager but is automatically takes the highest comport.
Please help

@ sunny_cool,

Please check the cable, make sure that you are using simple cable, not force boot one and also tell us what kind of cable you are using is it P2k or mini USB.

USE usb ports from the computer, not via internal hub (use the usb ports that are poart of the motherboard). The hubs are not only internal, the USB ports in the fron of the computer normally have an internal HUB and you'll allways have failures in the connection.
