Member: 57937 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 34 | 'No Battery' When Test Point Unlocking Motorola?! I'm not sure if this has been asked or mention before. But the other week I was showed how to unlock an L7 via test point, but we forgot to insert the battery into the phone, but it still successfully unlocked. Today I tried an L6, and just had the phone's PCB connected to the Smart Clip, No battery attached or power supply to the PCB, and again it Unlock Successfully. It seem so much easier to do the unlock this way. Is this a safe method to use?! And is it common practice? and are others doing this? What other Motorola's can this method be used on? (Where no battery is required). But.... Maybe we were lucky with these two phones, and maybe this proceedure should not be done! Try it with Caution! |

Just my thoughts - Use at your own risk |
