I've had this prob on few fones.... after i hit unlock button after 2-3 secs redlight..

Could this be Cable Prob?? Phone Prob?? or Clip Prob??

make sure the phones batterys are charged...

I have unlocked a lot of cxxx withouth problems with this great tool

Use 9V Charger in Smart-Clip which u use for Griffin !!!
Problem will be Solved

Same problem whit c550

I did use 3 deferent battery and 2 deferent charger 9V but the same. I turn on the clips after that I turn on the phone and connect it to the phone and I click on unlock and the phone restart and the clip give me the red light….

Do you think that the software version in the phone is not supportet in the clip??

I have the Same problem.
after Red light dont remove cable,again power on phone press unlock button
now u got green light

.this method work with me.

@ All Smart-clip users

My experience with Smart-clip is on some handsets its all about timing some connect 100% ok when on, some connect 100% on startup logo and sound.

U see @ least itz not only me that has this prob.... I tried all methods said here ealier on ... even plug charger then unlock but none solved... btw some phones work perfectly while some gives that Red light.

I'm not sure of that... Ok i tried reading flash but no way... cant even connect to SCreader.

CONFUSED..

i have same problem with C450, and can not read flash (error entering flash mode...54)
it looks like smartclip failed to switch phone in right mode for unlocking
tryed two different power adapters, three phone batteries and two C450

i try to unlock c350 but it fail ! when i try to read flash it show ''failed [59]'' ! cam anyone tell me what problem?

if you are using firmware 1.18 it can not work smothly in cxxx models so update your firmware to the lastest firmware i used to get same problem sent result

Well No One Has Talked About The Connecting Port Sometimes U Just Hane To Clean It Thoroughly And It Works Betterstill Get The Latest Update My Own Prob Is The A920 Different Strokes For Different Folks
