s-card not identified

Just tried to update. Updated clip fine. Downloaded s-card updater, then ran it. It shows the correct serial number for my skey, but warns s-card not identified.
Ran smartmoto. It also sees the clip and key correctly but will not run until the key is updated......Please help me. Hopefully gonna be a very good day on Saturday.

Hmm. The key was working 30 seconds before with smartmoto. Now I have updated the clip, I now find the key will not update. It registers with smartmoto fine....It has to be either software or drivers.
Re-seller I doubt can help here.

Installed the lot on a brand new machine... Still exactly the same.

From what Invisible says "post help" I'm beginning to think I'll have to use the "free" server from another vendor until after christmas. Blimey. I don't even mind buying a new s-card (if thats possible).
New updating the clip this close to christams was a bad idea.
Thanks for your advice anyway.

Donīt confuse the people,

update client is version 1.3 which had been there from half december,
version 1.05 is the scard firmware itself,

problem is for some reason the card did not update "something" inside at the end of the process,

Thanks for the reply. I am beginning to think however that it is a standard cut 'n' paste reply.

I have sent as much info as I can to the above address, and realise now that I will have to use other means to try and work this (trade) chritmas eve.

I like using this clip, and have very little doubt in its ability.
It is wrong that myself and many other people's only fear is when you try and update it.

It would be better if precautions could be made. I'm sure there are many little ideas for them. But regarding skey updating after you update the clip, would it not be better, that the previous Smartmoto would still be able to work so your not left with a useless box.
