yes i have the same problem I have this problem my smartclip working unlocking fine. but when i connected to smartmoto it says clip not detected and by upgrade zone when it will be detecting the leds going off and the again on but he can not detected the smartclip. and when i putt 9 volt extern or battery the led's from clip is going on after 4 seconds. and when i putt lpt on the clip only yellow (tx) led is on ??? before connecting lpt on the clip ,there is 5 volt on the circuit ,after connecting lpt there is no more 5 volt on the clip circuit ????? when i desolder D1 diode by the connector from the lpt ,then is 5 volt coming back , but clip cannot found ....
