smart=clip how much volt adaptor need for update and for use

whene i udate the smart clip following message is come"smart\clip udate software 3.08 Warning : make sure you use power adaptor"please tell me which kind of adaptor i use and how much volt adaptor.i have uni box adaptor which is 14v +_ 1.5a.please guide me in detail .i m new user in motorolla and smartclip and also give me the video links how to use smart-clip

Recommended power supply for proper work of the Smart-Clip is 10V 1A or 12v 750mA.

I ALSO USE THE SaME 12V, 500 mA , working fine
