Smart Clip (last version) Update recomend? - GSM-Forum

Hello Gsm server Team.

I have some concerns with the new update smart-clip

What are the advantages of this update?
For longer (the best service box Motorola) and ceases to be the MTK platform? (low profile china Board)
I thought wrong a few years ago ... I believed this was the best investment, but now I see smart-clip (devalued)

I bet this is because the new key (SigMaKey) is giving more money?

With the new version, I can release all p2k / Odm / Chimei / Locosto / MOTOMAGX still alive?

You can be more clear for fools like me can understand this upgrade?

My respects to all the team, I hope I removed the doubts

@ el-polaco,

With the latest update we have added support of NAND and NOR flash chips for Repair IMEI operation and also two new handsets, WX306 and WX308. All other phone models, like: P2k, Acer, MotoMAGX, LTE2 ROM4, ARGON, Compal, etc. are still supported and will be supported in future.

Full list of supported phone models and platforms can be found at the official web site.

Hope this post will explain what actually were released with the last update.

With last SC update for Motorola EX-WX-series MTK cell phones phones you get REPAIR hardware IMEI (10 models with NAND and 4 models with NOR flash memory type)

now I understand ...

you mean that (From Now) Smart Clip is for Motorola MTK (Low Profile)
And the Sigma is key for the new and high-end Motorola (Android as an example)
This Upgrade is like a Jake-Mate From Sigma to SmartClip
