Smartmoto doesn´t recognise com ports?


hi

I have Smart clip and s card with newest version but I can not manage to unlock F3 or j110 phones I have read the solution on Faq page of smart-clip.com but it doesn´t work for me

I select com port select F3 and chose that comport which is installed in hardware manager as Siemens cabel (I have F3 usb Cabel) when smart moto say power on phone I press power on but nothing happens phone swich on and thats all smart moto still keep on saying power on Phone

what can be the reason for that I have already uninstalled and reinstalled usb drivers for F3 but still doesn´t work

sounds like cable or driver problem, did you install driver before pluging in cable?

Please tell us what COM port your OS choose, and what COM port you select in Smartmoto.

my os choose com 7 (I Can Change com port on hardwaremanager iff nessesary) and I also choose Com 7 in Smart moto

no only Smart-Clip, Twister+ Hwk, Jaf, SeToolbox 3, NsPro, Greatflasher Master and Slave

but Im going to buy an Infinity

Try to choose other COM port and run unlock procedure once again.

I tried Com 10, 2, 4 , 5 with same result

I think my smart clip is the problem becouse I also cant unlock J110 and this is a RJ45 Cabel which is directly connected to Smart clip

Please double check unlock manual.
The phone has to be connected diretly to the USB port of the PC.

I know that I have to connect directly to usb ports of PC I tried all usb ports of pc and I have changed to Com 5 and also rebooted my PC

@ surfer2go,

Unlock procedure of f3 handset don't have nothing common with the Smart-Clip.
To unlock the phone, connect it (powered off) directly to the PC USB port, install drivers, select right COM port in the SmartMoto, Press Unlock button, power On the phone.
Note: S-Card suppose to be connected to the PC for unlock procedure to be completed successfully.
