Is Testpoint solutions the future of Moto unlocking?

Are all these testpoint solutions final solutions, or is it just a temporary solution while working on direct solution?

I'm getting really worry, since all new motorola phones require testpoints.

My worry is not about the testpoints, but about having to take the shield apart from the phone, and therefore, loosing warranty on every single phone...

I would be very happy if testpoints are needed in all future models
That would make one button unlockers think well before opening the phone

IT IS NOT ABOUT ONE BUTTON JOB OR OPENING A PHONE
IT IS ABOUT DAMAGING A BRAND NEW PHONE
I WOULD NEVER LET ANYONE DRILL OR USE DREMEL ON MY BRAND NEW PHONE
SO TEST POINT IS OK AS TEMPORARY UNLOCK SOLUTION BUT NOT A PERMANENT

sorry but as "profesional", i dont do any work infront of a customer.

i am very happy to open/cut/solder/drill any customers phone, cos i am careful/competent and practice on broken phones first..

i am with viper sorry, i love test points cos we can charge a good money for the job. they cannot go to the chip shop next door and get it done for £5...

if you are worried about stripping/drilling phones best leave to a professional

Sure,

you´re right about less competition.

But u HAVE to inform a *******r that you´re going to drill/damage his phone.

And that is the point when 40% of them say:
"Thx, but no thx!"

And codes are to expensive now ...

yes, maybe 20% of customers will say ''thx, but no thx", but 80% will understand that the only solution for a working phone is to open the phone, isn't it?

we do tell customer; "unlocking this phone will invalidate your waranty" but they all say "carry on".

we do not say about "drilling holes" as this seems unprofessional in my opinion. maybe sounds like "we are going to hammer your phone"

Aye ur not concerned about bcos u make big money, so think of the little guy's, u grabbing money ****.We are all here to help each other, and these guy's have bought smart-clip, so lets us all have the direct unlocking solution, if all guy's where like u m8, smart-clip would only keep on coming out with updates for test-points.

You've heard of "murphy's law" right?
besides. like the other folks said, regardless of your work, the phone is no longer covered under warranty.
Thats really the issue here. wait till a customer has to send their phone back to motorola and then are told they arent covered because the phone was disassembled and modified. Guess where they're gonna go to try and re-coupe their losses???

all unlocking will invalidate customer warranty.....so all customrs know this....they know unlocking/unbranding phones is for sure lose operator warranty.........so test point is good enouth for professionals and we can earn some money for our "cheap unlocker friends" because all of them like one button unlockers and if they not so better with drilling/rehoting they will pay customer's phones.........so hard unlocking is better this can make them to think for which bussines they are
