Member: 86579 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 70 | u9 moto logo hang repair i have a u9 that hangs at motorola logo.customer said that he took the hpone somewhere for unlock earlier today and when they give him back the phone it hangs at logo. i have followed the repair manual but no luck.after complete repair process phone is still hanging on moto logo SmartMoto 4.04 S-Card: Smart-Clip dongle, v 3.03, assigned Smart-Clip: Europe, initializing... OK Clip serial: , version: 5.02, initializing... OK Searching for phone... found S Flash SCM-A11, getting test interface... interface not found Switching to flash mode... OK Reading phone boot version... 6.2A Restarting phone...OK Searching for phone... no phone found Searching for phone... found S Flash SCM-A11, getting test interface... interface not found Switching to flash mode... OK Unlocking phone...OK Restarting phone...OK i am not sure what flash the phone had originally but seems that the bootloader was upgraded to 6.a2 this is the flash i used to try to repair it R6632_G_81.27.0ER_GCJPICOCOREEU052_LP0039A_France_ Retail_fw.pcf any ideas? thanx gee4234 i am not sure what flash the phone had originally but seems that the bootloader was upgraded to 6.a2 |

Our solution is for the handsets with corrupted PDS, mainly by fake unlocking devices... If the phone has a hardware malfunction or another issue - our solution will not help. Also, the very important thing is to follow the Repair manual strictly! Completing steps 2 and 3 will not give you the working handset. And is very important that you don't let the handset to power ON right after flashing!!! The battery must be removed as soon as the handset starts rebooting!!! If you fail doing it in time - repeat the process from the step 1 again!!! No currently other way of doing it... Best Regards GSMServer team  Last edited by GSM_Support; 12-20-2009 at 11:10. |

Member: 86579 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 70 | hello smartclip team thank you for your quick response.i dont know what box other cell shop used to try to unlock customers phone but i do know phone was working customer first brought the phone to me but didnt like the price i gave him for unlock so he took it to someone else other shop offered cheaper price so left it with them.and they spoil his phone hahahaha.so customer is back here now.when he first brought it to me i had the phone in my hands and it was on in normal mode and working with its original provider claro argentina. steps i followed: 1st i put phone in flash mode *# pwr then connected to scout and flashed with R6632_G_81.27.0ER_GCJPICOCOREEU052_LP0039A_France_ Retail_fw.pcf after flashing is 100% scout does checksum and phone stills says software update in progress.after checksum is finished phone says update complete and scout says rebooting phone. i disconnect battery and cable. i run smartmoto connect cable to smartclip and put phone in flash mode *# pwr connect cable to phone. select motomagx tab and click search.smartmoto finds phone and i select U9 and click unlock. the only part of steps i am not sure if im doing right is exactly when do i disconnect battery from phone after flash.should i disconnect phone before scout says rebooting? can i disconnect it it when its doing the checksum to make sure phone does not power on? when you say it cannot power on or you have to repeat process over again what do you mean exactly by power on?do you define power on as phone showing logo on screen.because maybe when i disconect batt after flash right when it says phone booting phone has not showed moto logo yet but has powered on and that may be the reason why repair precedure is not working for me.thats why i think its real important that you explain to me exactly when to disconect batt thanx gee4234 SMARTCLIP ON!!!!!!1 |
