V3i DEAD SOLUTION HERE!!! - GSM-Forum

am looking for a solution:

i tried to unlock this motorola V3i using TP and it just stopped on the way,
as per bottom logged file showing "Unlocking phone... error A0" now phone is DEAD

cant even get to boot loader.

Hardware IMEI: AA070BF82F0D6F3

you can use UP-128 &256 &1024 erase fash IC

try again unlock

look imei,

if no=your phone imei

the flash IC bad

On that case ... Hardware IMEI is not intact cause of the wrong testpoint or testpoint not detach ...

Hello datalife2000,

Reading flash id... 0x0090-0x0090
means that flash memory chip is not read properly. There are two main reasons for that:
1. The flash memory chip is damaged or doesn't communicate with the processor. In this case the phone needs hardware repair.
Connection between the chip and the processor may be improved by the hot air.
2. Testpoint procedure was not performed properly -- just to make sure please, repeat the pt procedure.
