@ randr,

Please make sure that the PCB is clean and non of the PCb components touchaed during Smart TestPoint connection. After that run unlock procedure once again.

Question error 9b. need 100% solution

hi i have 3 v3re to unlock.
all the time i am having same problem of error 9b.
wonder what is this....

i tried to change 5 cables but all giving me same problem. though all the process is right. as it detects as 0.00 and then the whole usual process but in the end error 9b.

just bought new v3re today. but having same problem for unlock. plz gimme professional solution for this. as i have unlocked some v3re by using same cable and it works. but now no cable is working. i have tried to clean the board as well but all in vain.

@ janinuk,

For the Argon based handsets this error usually shows that Smart TP was held too long or some other PCB component was touched during TestPoint procedure.

it didn't work either........... must be some other problem. i have checked with 2 different v3re with different cables. with too much care. any other solution?????????????????/

Please ensure that power supply that you use is 12v 750mA, change data cable, ensure that the TP area is clean and run unlock procedure once again.
Disconnect Smart TestPoint as soon as SmartMoto informs you to release it.
