V3x problem - GSM-Forum

I have 6 pcs os Moto V3x, they needs to be unlocked.
3 pcs of them went successfully over the unlock process, but another 3...
They cannot power on.
I tried repair PDS, and full flash, tried to write back the first security backup, but no success, nothing.
What could I do with them in this failure?

The phone don't Power on at all, or only display not work?

The phone don't do anything.
Don't power on, don't beep, or something.
It is dead, SC can see this, if I make TP.

when You are making Test Point, Smart-Moto see the phone?
what Smart-Moto write?

So, I have the same problem....
1 piece have no display, but the phone is on and i can use it, only black display.And I have second one dead... when I power on only keybord light is on for few second and after I can do anything...

I have unlocked them with smarmoto and smartclip, using the testpoint procedure.... and i have result with no error.... bah.... i have no idea....

anybody can help me....

For the unit that have no display more likely you have damaged a
Testpoint resistor, which is responsible for display functions. Check the resistor, it suppose to have 33 Ohm.

For the other one, please try repairing PDS & full flash.

For GSM Support..... THANKS A LOT!!!!!

I replace the testpoint resistor and the unit revive!!!
It's very strange that resistor was broken, because I used 15W iron and microscope to check my work.....

So, I suppose I need to buy a lot of 33 Ohm SMD resistor !!!

So, for everybody if your V3x is dead after testpoint procedure, check the resistor.... is very delicate!!!

HI all guyssssss
I did unlocked V3x with smart moto and smart clip it works but the only problem with that is . I dammaged the resistor 33 Oms now i shorted that 2 pin together.. the LCD display now working fine at the moment but i'm not sure that if any thing will be effect if i short that 2 pin resistor together later all???

so, I suppose the testpoint resistor is a pull-up resistor to tie to vcc the IC pin.
And I think is better to install a resistor max 100 Ohm to limit the pull-up current.
