Here's my way for this problem :
1. repair PDS (make TP ofcouse)
2. flash phone with R479_G_08.B4.8BR_lp0021_full_flash.mfw
3. patch Imei
4. restore Imei

That's all I hope this procedure may help you.

@ Burnt Cobba,

Please tell us what problem the phone originally had.
Try to Full Flash the phone with the highest available firmware version for this platform, R479_G_08.B5.86R.

@ Burnt Cobba,

More likely that the phone was flasher with wrong platform flash file.
Due to this reason it stays in boot mode.

You can try to perform the following:
1. Make Repair PDS for R479 platform
2. Flash the phone with R479 firmware version (the highest one, R479_G_08.B5.86R)
3. Perform IMEI patch.
4. Restore ORIGINAL IMEI using SmartMoto Restore IMEI option.

NOTE: Phone cable should not be disconnected during the whole process until the last step is performed.

@MrTinkertrain

First of all thanks a lot for your continous help. Secondly in one of your replies in similar threads you wrote that the flash chip might have to be replaced. Is this the case? or was it in other times?

The last step of the imei if imei is still correct (as i tried to unlock and it seems to be ok) is this always needed anyway?

Thanks
