SAGmaster on Windows XP Pro PROBLEMS - GSM-Forum

Hi!

We have SAGmaster, it works great on Windows 98 SE. But we tried to install it on Windows XP Pro, but it always says NTPORTIO.SYS not installed, but it is already in the same folder...

I have tried to get more info about it and saw on the forum that some people also use UserPort.sys, but i just don't know how to use it at all that programm...

Maybe someone can help me by telling how to install NTPORTIO, USERPORT or maybe it is my LPT settings in my BIOS...

I downloaded it, but then how to use?

I tried to install, that was no problem, but when i press start service is always says: unknown error...

edit the start.bat, and rename the executable filename there to your, make sure the real file is in the same folder.. then you can run it, if you get error just click ok and continue..if you still having problem you may consider catching me on icq, check my profile..

You could check GSMInfo area for support and u would find what u need

Hi!

I know i am stupid, but where is the GSMinfo area?
Don't know where to find it...

On SAGmaster i see only flashfiles... and in the faq here on this forum there is nothing about it...

Well, Sagem Master works on XP, unlocking and reading flash, but I get kernel error when I open a flash (XP SP2 RC2 v.2149)

unpack files,press install first after this press button RELOAD,and software will say: INstalation succesfuly.After this run software will work fine.

i am missing somethging i run sagem program get error ntportio.sys not installed but the file is in nearly all my windows folders have tried all posts some of which i dont understand and all dont work 0downloaded xp patch open driver install program driver name says simpldrv .sys location is c:\nt\simpldv follow instructionsin posts click install get error service already existsclick reload get unlnown error while starting service edit in bat is allowio.exe s_cdr_v14.exe /a what am i missing here .???

SagMaster work on XP well, even low PC. Mine works on PII400, 128M RAM

No!!! For me perfectly working under XP, just do this:

To install software under WinNT/2000/XP you have to log
in under administrator account and do the following :

1) copy "NTPortIO.sys" to "your_NT_directory\SYSTEM32\DRIVERS"
2) add "ntportio_nt.reg" settings to registry by double clicking
in Explorer
3) restart your system
