Model
N-04c Nec Medias Docomo


Problem
Too Many Pattern Attempts!



Hard Reset Procedure
Phone Must Be Off
Press Volume Up + Volume Down + Power Switch
Wait Until Download mode appear
Then Press Volume Down
System Recovery will Prompt
Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Use Volume Down for Cursor
And Volume Up for Select
Click Yes to delete all user data



"but before to confirm it will need password for recovery"


here's the TIPS:
Code:
Take the second digit
 then the last 4 and last 3 and last 2 in the IMEI
 then it is the password for recovery

enter your 4 digit password will find at the back of phone




it will prompt when your password is correct (just click "YES" to reset)

this 4 digits marked in red must be your password

Nice information it really work like charm
10000000000000% Tested!
the only mistake is the step after recovery,
it is actually the ''VOLUME UP'' u need to press
b4 u can see the wipe data/factory reset screen,
not the volume down. But he did great.

How did you find this out? I have an NEC terrain that has the same requirement for a passcode. I've tried this method and it doesn't work. I know the Medias is made by NEC as well. Appreciate any guidance, thank you.

I have the same problem.

I even know my gmail username and password, and entered that, and it still doesn't unlock.

Has anyone managed to recover from too many pattern attempts on the NEC terrain? Thanks.

What you have to do is remove the battery, copy the IMEI somewhere...

Then If your IMEI is:0123456789abcde
Then your recovery Password is:1bcd
