Nec 228 reboots after "Nec" logo
 

Hi all, a friend of mine gave me a "dead" e228.
At the beginning of the test, it has a 3G sim with pincode, and after starting on the phone, and after inserting the correct code, the phone reboot.
Then, I tried to:
1) flash the phone with another version of software, I used Ultimo IPLT for USB (I also modded the cable) with sw version HEX_U21_63_20_bb_root (took it from the filename of the .hex)
2) Unlock the phone and try to use it with a non-3G card with no pincode request at the switching of the phone

All of these operations were successfully, but none of them helped me to make the phone reborn.
The phone is correctly unlocked and with a new flash, but it seems to work. Now, instead of breaking up after inserting the pincode, with another simcard it reboots itself after the "Nec" logo. And it keeps on rebooting infinite times, the only way to stop it is to extract the battery.

Any advice? What should I try to do before saying to my friend that his phone is completely dead??
