Use The Search Button... Dont Duplicate Thread Again!!!!!!!!

Hi all,

As we can all see the server is always been clogged with unnecessary threads, and its really taking up server resources, In order to continue to enjoy the benefits of this our great forum, pls MAKE USE OF THE SEARCH BUTTON BEFORE YOU START ANOTHER THREAD, most at times your questions are already answered.

Threads started without regards ton this rule may be deleted.

Thank you

Why don't you have a Read Me ist sticky or a FAQ sticky ?. When you are new to something you don't know what is a common problem from what is specific to you. Also if you are unsure of what you are searching for then searching is ineffective. Sometimes when one does a search 50 posts comes up with the keywords, most of which are Garbage.

There are a lot of useful information which just fades away. this should be captured in a Read Me first/FAQ sticky. Then everyone would be reffered to this sticky ?

How hard can it be to spell ex. "unlock E616" in search field and push GO? Many ppl here are too lazy to read maybee 5 or 10 threads to find answer for their question. Funny because while reading u get more knowledge about other specific items.

I belive in working smarter not harder....reading 10, meaning-less post sometimes have you going in circles and not giving a true picture. I remember the "Temp code "solution, every other post had a different opinion, you would be going in circles.

A lot of persons here have job, school etc, they need solution in the most efficient ways possible....there is no time to read 10 + different post in hope of finding an answer to your questions. That is why most forums have a FAQ. We need a FAQ in this forum...

Yes, but every new post a new reply a new opinion, can u see this circle? I have also other work to do than reading posts, but exactly after reading some posts its a lot easier to increase problem and post more specific. I remember the NEC temp code discussion and it got complicated because of too many posts about same subject. Where do u think they came from?

And yes, good idea to have FAQ or Read me first, but what make u believe that same members have "time" to read these and they dont even have patience to read forum rules or sticky posts?

We can then refer them to the FAQ. so every redundant question, instead of saying go search, say the answer is in the FAQ. this is one centralised solution, which would prove efficient. Smart Clip website has something like that. Almost all problems are listed in thier FAQ or trouble shooting sections.
