NEC N343i remote unlock help needed - GSM-Forum

Hi,
I've gotten the following codes to remote unlock my NEC
Code for PCKKP2 is : **00053*73957347#
Code for PCKKP is : **00052*13371191#

They worked when I tried them, PCKKP2 says 'done' but when I put the PCKKP code in it says to 'enter new phone code',
I'm not too sure what to enter for the new phone code? Does any one know what I should do?

Any help is appreciated,

Hi,
I didn't start this thread with the intention of posting my IMEI for unlock codes...
I had the codes but needed help to use them.

So are you saying remote unlocking won't work? Any reason why, have the wrong codes been entered too many times? I'm kind of curious

Thank you for these codes, the old firmware ones work(not all of them but some), however the phone stays in its current state, "SIM MEP lock failed". Any ideas or is it impossible to unlock my phone remotely?
One other thing to note, since entering the codes, the phone will no longer stay on when no sim card is present, it freezes and turns off, is this of any significance?
