Thumbs up I assure you this works.

1.Put Non Accepted sim In Phone You Have measaage "Insert Correct Usim"
2.Press Right Key Then key Down you Get " Insert usim Code " or Something Like This be carrefull
with Counter you have just 3 Tries
3. Like Unlock Codes Input 8 digit Number got from the NEC code calculator Without *4960 and #4960
Now you are Inside of phone but no network
4. Now First Input #4960*xxxxxxxx# xxxxxxxx-Is Your calculated codes nothing happend
but is ok now Input second Code *4960*xxxxxxxx*xxxxxxxx# Again nothing Happend
5. Power Off The Phone and Power On and you have network.....
If You try to go in message Or somwhere else and see message "unable To start Apllication"
Is Ok just put phone alone some time and all will work

This is taken from http://forum.gsmhosting.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=142546

Now rename the attachment to NEC.exe

The XXXXXXXX number is the number which the unlocker attached generates.
But some say that it could be any random number.
Its confusing on this part. But from many of the post which I have seen not only this forum but also in other forums, xxx is a any number you like.
But instead testing you can use the unlocker software.
But this method works for sure.

But a hard fact is after coming to 2g SIM you cannot go back to 3G.

Try and post the result.

the calculator is a FAKE. heres a few numbers 12345678 54545453 43468907 all will work.
the calculator generates an 8 figure number that is then your password.
Why not just make up a password yourself.

Sorry to rake over old ground but I'm a bit confused and it's always best to ask then to try and make a mistake.

My friend has a e313 on G3 in the UK will this calc work for that, and do I just type in the numbers it generates into the phone and thats it ?

Many thanks

The other info is posted in the first few posts on this forum. try 4960. be aware this'll mess up your phone for good, and just unlocks the sim card.

try searching.

Don't forget its only a temporary unlock as well.

It simple relocks the phone to the new sim card, if you change sim cards you have to do the whole thing again. Plus it only works on phones manufactured before March 2004

seems to work on software version

SW ACPU:E21.43.04
CCPU:C623 R06

The march 2004 thing could just be a myth, as its more likely to be a software change that prevents unlocking the sim.

press "emergency button" enter 112 press send
phone will switch to 3g
hang up call before it dials 112
enter usim code - usually 12345678
phone will accept your sim

this process must be repeated every time you switch on
you won;t have access to most features
