Very strange e616v after changing LCD display :) - GSM-Forum

I had really strange e616v. I have broken NEC e616v with changed IMEI, chinese language and software sv24 but it was it doesn`t have any schraches or marks - its like brand new. I also have working e616v with sv17, not changed IMEI and all the languages in menu but it had a lot of scraches and marks. So I decided to change the body of this NEC. I took the whole display with camera and the rest of body from the broken NEC. The only thing of good e616v was the main board. I was so suprprised when I turnded on my new phone!! It had software sv24, changed IMEI and chinese language!!

Thanks to new upgrade of multicom I changed IMEI to the label one and everything works fine, but still don`t undestand how LCD display can have influence on sv version and IMEI ??

because in NEC E616 the lcd part with the chips is the main part of the phone!
