Member: 63904 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 12 | 8300 Keyboard layout changed by debranding. Did a search and found that it was a problem that should have been fixed by using V1.0.0.867. The problem here is that I am using that version and am still getting problems. The phones are all BT (UK) branded and running:- V4.2.2.114 Platform 2.4.0.53 Using this SFI file :- 8300-PBr4.2.2_rel222_PL2.4.0.53_A4.2.2.114.sfi Question is, is there still a bug, or is it the SFI file that is causing the problem? Blackberries are not my forte, so any help would be greatly appreciated here, currently have 20+ phones on the shelf that I cannot sell!! Best Regards Mobilesunlocked. |

Member: 63904 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 12 | Update. Have reflashed one of the 8300s with a newer software version, then debranded again with a newer SFI and the problem still persists. Is there anything else I can try my end, or do I just need to wait for an update to fix the bug? Regards Mobilesunlocked |

Member: 63904 Status: Offline Thanks Meter: 12 | Update. Not sure how I've missed this but running 1.0.0.872 does not change the keyboard layout on debranding, which I'm now happily using on the rest of the phones. However I still have a few phones here that have had their keyboard layouts changed, can someone please help me, or tell me how to get them back please? They are currently on QWERTZ and need to go back to QWERTY. Any help as always greatly appreciated! Regards Mobilesunlocked. |
