Acer S500 No Signal

i have Acer S500 unlocked ( from Orange RO ), and no signal on the phone.

on Settings > About Phone > Status > Signal strength : 2147483647 dBm 255 asu

imei is ok

also serial is ok


can FuriousBox fix this ?

Use manual search. Also this phone needs some time to find network.

i also user manual search, but wont find any network, no matter 2G, 3G, etc. network coverage in my area is very good, on 3 different networks

can this be hardware problem ? (haven't seen before these values on network status : Signal strength : 2147483647 dBm 255 asu)

Check if any sw update avalable for it

phone was unlocked with 4.1.2, signal problem

after that, downgraded to 4.0.4, same problem

update back to 4.1.2, same problem


update was done with AcerDownloadTool

downgrade by SDCARD


CPUID is "-1", so currently bootloader stays locked, and cannot flash other firmware (WW_GEN or EMEA_FR)

ready to buy/activate FG pack 5 if this problem can be solved.

Furious just read the codes. In ur case seems baseband is dead so therefore no signal
