Alcatel OT 639g dead after trying to unlock using MTK Code Reader

While trying o unlock this phone, the process worked okay but the code was strange. It had 6 number and "FF" at the end of it. I tried again and while the software was reading code, the screen start blinking from white to black and then stops on the phones logo. I get this error.

Searching phone;
Phone detected (@oem92.inf,%mtk6218%;MTK USB Port)
Preparing to start meta mode;
COM opened ok;
Phone must be powered off;
Keep pressing the power button if serial used !
(for USB connection keep SPACE or * (STAR) key pressed and insert the usb cable)
Connecting;
ERROR: ?

Time needed - 00:00:49

By the way I'm using a regular USB. and MTK Code Reader v1.0.0.470
