Press connect botton then attach power off phone while you hold space key On phone and keep it hold soft Will run and read codes

Press space key for more tha 30minutes can't get code

Did not use usb hub, i tried on another clean PC with drivers from support but keep getting the same error, can't connect in meta mode.

Remove batt, insert batt, press unlock, press space on phone, insert cable

I am trying to unlock Alcatel OT871a but keep getting error. I am using MTK code reader version v1.0.0.266+
see error :

COM opened ok;

(for USB connection keep SPACE or * (STAR) key pressed and insert the usb cable)
Connecting;
Meta mode entered;
Baseband Chip:    MT6276
Sw version:    MAUI.11A.W11.12.SP1.V8.F10
Hw Version:    JRD76_11A_GEMINI_HW
Reading phone info;
ERROR: IMEI READ FAILED !

Time needed - 00:00:11

Please how to solve?

Driver problems. Restart pc after drivers got installed

I restarted the PC and nstill getting the same error... I uninstalled the drivers and reinstalled them and restart the machine and its the same error.
