| Anyone tried Flashing TG800 with KG800 firmware??? like the title says... anyone here tried flashing the TG800 (north american Chocolate) with the KG800 firmware ?? or anyone knows if this is possible? |

| ...HOWEVER, the phone will no longer be able to access the 850mhz frequency (VERY IMPRTANT HERE IN CANADA). So flashing KG800--->TG800 means that the once triband phone (850/1800/1900) becomes a dual band phone (1800/1900). Technically, the phone thinks its tri-band Europe, but there is no 900mhz hardware on the board, and therefore a call cannot be made on this frequency. |
