Blackberry 9000 unlock sim problem


i jz get the bb 9000 today but when i use furious to unlock it ,it was fail and ask me to switch off the mass memory , i hv try but the problem is still the same .meanwhile when i switch the "mass storage config & fast code read"to disable ...it was failed ...and it was wiping the phone itself and need to reprogramme back .....why it was happen ?and what use for the "mass storage config & fast code read" when it switch disable ???
Pls help me solve tis problem and why it happen ? my customer jz buy the phone few months only ...

it means the password that the customer set by his own o wat ?
