Dell Streak Unlock Problam - GSM-Forum

Hi
I have try more then 15 times but always show this error. I have also try to upgrade OS v1.6 to v2.2 but problam still same.

Software engine version: 1.0.0.6366
Searching phone ...
MODEL : DELL STREAK (MINI5)

ENTERING DOWNLOAD MODE;
ENTERED;
BOOTLOADER VER: 12-5035-AUSB1AM-0

where u get the latest exe check here

be sure no usb hub connected

just simple use the pc back usb port and try again

Do you people ever bother to read damn instructions ? DELL MUST ASK THE UNLOCK CODE WHEN REMOVING BATT AND PUTTING BACK. MEANS YOU MUST SEE THE TEXT BOX WHERE UNLOCK CODE MUST BE INSERTED !

before removing battery, we remove battery cover and the phone goes off, then how can we see the code enter window

Dan, Maybe you should explain this better.

when its asking for code, once back cover is removed, the asking for code goes off.. that part is a bit of an issue.

Update on dell streak unlock!

hehe... i was able to unlock 2 phones out of the 3 that i have and the thirds one ...tried severally no luck..,..

it is a little temperamental.. just keep trying.. i downgraded to 2.1 and unlocked the 2 , downgraded the third one too but nothing still.. will keep on trying

i am also getting decoding data; error... !, i try several ways with the screen asking the unlock code and always getting the same result version 2.2 and is from the US, about the putting it on test mode i found that you can do it also with removing and putting very fast just the battery cover, my question is the taking the battery out process just to get the unit on qualcomm mode, or there is another reason that has to be to do that if not just taking and putting the battery cover get it to that mode with volume up, of course i follow the instructions just looking options to solve my problem

And can someone point me in the right direction to downgrade the unit
