GB130 dosnt enable lock code menu - GSM-Forum

Hello
I have for the first time to unlock GB130. I read code by selecting GB110/L7, put test card on it(I dont have original sim card) but when I type 2945#*20001# phone doesnt enter to sim lock menu. Just get back to wallpaper (main screen).

Any Help

put motorola test card or if you have universal then u can make yourself test card and then try to put code

I put the test card. this problem apeers with motorola test card inside.

put non accepted sim card
u will see the unlock option on screen, i think on the right side
press it and put the code

go to setting - security - desactivate simlock

tested now

Maybe with accepted card but with test card it doesnt work. Any Idea. Could this be a software problem.

For operation finishing,do next :
- power phone ON with other operator SIM
- when phone will ask for unlock code
- enter code : 66386457
- if phone not allows enter code
- write to phone other firmware,which
- allows code entering or use
- "Repair EEPROM" function or enter
- unlock code and press "SEND" button or
- if you have original SIM,power ON phone
- with it and enter 2945#*20001#
- goto Menu-Settings-Security-Sim Unlock Code-
- Desactivate and enter : 66386457

Instruction:

1. Put in original SIM card or TEST card.
2. Enter 2945#*20001#. It dosn't view anything, its normal.
3. Jast go to Menu->Settings->Security->SIM Lock->Network SIM Lock
4. Enter you readed SIM lock code.

Tested by me 100%.

No need "test/motorola card" or "original card"

just type *#9999# it will emulate sim

1.Run lg ke soft, select lg gb110 and read codes
2.Insert accepted sim or test sim or original sim
3.Go to menu,settings,security,
4.Go to sim locks and select deactivate then put in the codes
Press thx button if its usefull for you
