Help Needed For Blackberry Password Removal - GSM-Forum

Hi all, i have a couple of blackberry 8900s infront of me that need the passwords removing, yet whenever i press "Clear Password" nothing happens.

Is anyone aware of how to get this feature to work or knows of any other tool that can remove the password.

I am running BBST 1.0.0.1083 LOUISSE Edition.

just put 10 time wrong pasword it will be wipe you phone it self after 10th stemp good luck

Not as easy as that i'm afraid.
The handset belongs to one of our sales team who changed his password whilst drunk and can't remember what it is now.
And as you can imagine he never bothered to report the sync issues he was having with our BES server and never backed it up via BBDM.

And only handed the phone over with 1 password attempt remaining!

So just to re-itterate again for everyone
I DONT want the data on the handset to be Deleted.

I have numerous other 8900's here and they all wipe after the password has been entered incorrectly 10 times (It's actualy 5 with our IT policy)
So i dont want to risk it.

Doesn anyone else have an idea?
Also has anyone managed to get the "Clear Password" button on BBST to work??
