Phone must be powered off;
Keep pressing the power button if serial used !
(for USB connection keep SPACE or * (STAR) key pressed and insert the usb cable)
Connecting;

You must use serial cable not usb !

UART rj45 cable, hooked up to any universal box, not those that inverse rx and tx like ufs. Chimera cable might work, it depends.
But use furious gold box com interface, highly recommended. I unlocked a similar phone earlier in time.
