I tried to unlock a 9530 by read code and it failed, so i tried slow method and UNLOCK, and it seems it wiped the phone, and after many replugging of cable, it prompted me to select a file, which i think is the os.

I will get this tomorrow.
I want to ask if this is correct procedure, if not, what is the right process then when read code doesnt work ?

before doing slow method always check if you have the right sfi file...

Those files can be downloaded from Blackberry webpage. When you install soft for flashing a 9530 for example it will create you the SFI file

you Can Unlock This Phone By Network Code, Use Furious Blackberry Server,
