I installed xp in a laptop to work with FG Box, but it doesnt unlock anything - GSM-Forum

I took the advice and installed a notebook with windows xp, also did the following:

1. Downloaded maintenance
2. Downloaded pack6
3. Downloaded UniversalAdbDriver.zip for Blu drivers
4. Installed all the drivers in maintenance and pack 6, all of them and universaladbdriver (also installed .net 4). If there were no installer i did right click in the inf files and install them.
5. Connected the Box to an usb port, wait untill all was installed, the missing drivers were obtained from the box driver's folder
6. Open maintenance
7. Open MTKReader
8. Connected the phone to a pc's usb port and wait the drivers to install.

9. Enable debug in android
10. Disconnected the phone and remove battery
11. In MTKReader choosed the second option and click read codes
12. Connected the phone to pc's usb and insert battery
13. It detect the phone, but just that, this is the message:

Searching phone;
Phone detected (PreLoader USB VCOM Port)
Preparing to start meta mode;
Searching for debug port; (be sure drivers from support were installed)
Debug Port found on PreLoader USB VCOM Port (COM8);
Preparing to connect meta mode;
ERROR: ?

Time needed - 00:05:36

Log file saved to: LOG_30_10_2015_12_23_34.txt

I work mainly with alcatel, huawei and blu
I need to setup this machine as soon as possible please.
Ill wait for your advice.

It would be usefull to tell which phones you tried, which drivers you installed and i could help more. Best is to add me over skype to arrange all

The pack 6 installers comes with a bunch of drivers, i installed all of them.

the phones i tried were blu dash 3.5, huawei y360 y blu advance 4.0.

Also installed the box drivers that comes with maintenance and the universaladbdriver.
