LG KU990iGO Flash problem while unlocking - GSM-Forum

I have just got hold of a new viewty which is showing as SW;

KU990iG-MSM6280-V10a-FEB-25-2009-XX

when checked with furious shows as KU990iGOAT-01-V10a-234-10-FEB-25-2009+5

I downgraded firmware so i could unlock using FG pack 5.

When downgrading the screen turns yellow and says refreshing, i unlocked anyway using pack 5 and unlock went fine according to software. I then try to recover handset from "refreshing" screen by upgrading firmware back to KU990iGO FW;

KU990iGO-DZ-V10a+5-FEB-25-2009-o2-G

BUT i get the same problem after flashing back to this FW, just shows a yellow screen and "refreshing", i have tried in emergency mode as well but just get the same problem!

Could someone please advise how to recover this handset, many thanks in advance

flash phone lg to flash lg ku990 and unlock......gooode teste 100%

I have tried using the LG software upgrader it starts flashing, gets to 4% and then comes up with "problem with communication between cell phone and PC"

But now the phone just hangs on LG screen with "Please wait..." underneath, any ideas how to revive would be much appreciated

I will try Sebhas method by flashing ku990i file even tho this is a KU990iGO, see if that works and post result

hi.
bro which flasher u use ?.. but if u have furious-gold is best.
2nd .. use origenal usb cable battery atleast 50% charged..
3rd ... flash ur fone in emergency mode...how to put
1- To enable EMERGENCY DOWNLOAD

2- PRESS GREEN KEY + "C" KEY + KEY LOCK BUTTON + POWER ON.

BE SURE U PRESS THEM IN THIS ORDER AND U KEEP THEM PRESSED.

REMEBER: USE USB CABLE

Tried this as well but phone still hanging, battery is full as have charged in another phone and have also tried flashing in emergency mode but still the same problem, now just hanging on LG logo and "please wait..."

Checked this when i first got phone,

KU990iG-MSM6280-V10a-FEB-25-2009-XX

it is a KU990iGO, tried flashing with iGO file and still not working, i am flashing it with Furious QFG module

if flash going ok if not maybe before u flash wed v10b.or v10c so than u find v10b or a10c smilar files...... ? post result

Tried flashing several KU990iGO files to phone of a similar type to original but still getting the yellow screen, now saying File system startup please wait and handset is just hanging on this screen but when i take battery out and turn on it just hangs on LG logo with Please wait... below it, please help as need to recover this handset ASAP

I try using Hack's method that i found in another post;

"To repair is simple. Write back KU990i FW.

After using pack 5 do:

1. RESTORE PHONE USING KU990i.bin
2. REPAIR IMEI
3. UNLOCK"

Here is the logs;

ALL of the above was done with NO SIM inside, But phone will NOT get to INSERT SIM screen!!!

All the phone is doing is showing LG Logo and "Please Wait..." underneath

Still stuck with this phone, tried flashing to V10b FWs and still same problem,
