New Furious user trying to unlock Pantech C3 - GSM-Forum

I just got Furious over the holidays.

I have installed everything, and am trying to unlock a Rogers Pantech C3.

When I open the Pantech module, I select "Direct Unlock", but no matter what COM port I select (I have tried all of them), I always get the same message:

Is there anything I am missing?

check port,port problem,install port properly.

Check FTDI USE.

I'm having a similar problem. When I click "Do Job" and turn on the phone, the program will search for the phone and "Starting Communication...." then error out. I tried with "FTDI Use" but have the same problem. Did I miss something?

PS I'm using 026 cable

press botton on box first. take battary out of phone, coonect phone to cable , press unlock, then put battary now in phone it will start coomunication and unlock
